This year was our year to be with Jerry's family for Christmas. We have
switched on and off every year since we got married, so this year was no different. Alan & Janelle were able to come home the week of Christmas, but had to be heading back by Christmas Eve. Since they had to head back that day, we decided we would head to MI so we could spend Christmas with Dad. Since my in-laws have a smaller house, we invited everyone here for the day. It was still crowded at times (esp. meal time), but we still had lots of fun and laughter! We started our day with Jerry reading the Christmas story and then on to gifts. All the kids
received Webkinz from
Mamaw, so that was
defiantly a big hit. Next came the eating, and that we did : ) We had subs, wraps, tons of chips and dips (thanks to Tony) and of course, lots of sweets and munchies! After all that was over, we dove into the games, coffee and desserts : ) Jerry and Reed ran into town and when they returned they warned us that the temp had changed approximately 7 degrees within the hour. Since we had enjoyed most of the day together, we decided we'd better play it safe and head our
separate ways. A & J were off to the sunny south (FL) and we were off to the cold north (MI). All of us were very thankful for safe traveling mercies that God granted upon us; on our 18 and 4 1/2 hour journeys. We had a great time with The Cooper side and can't wait to get together again!

All of us listening to Jerry read the Christmas story
Tony & Elizabeth snuggling on their first Christmas as
Mr. & Mrs. Banes : )
The kids all opening their Webkinz
Kallee opening her Dora watch Aunt Bi-bis (Elizabeth) bought her
The teens in the house enjoyed opening all of that girly teen stuff; lotions, shower gels, etc.
Talon loves "The Wizard of Oz" so he loved receiving this trivia game from Aunt Elizabeth
Keegan still loves playing with his match-box cars, so he loved this car
case he received from Aunt Elizabeth.
Kallee wouldn't try her new wig on, so Talon thought he'd model it for us, HA!
This is the beautiful quit my MIL (Betty) made for us. She knows how much Jerry and I like the whole Americana theme, so she made us a queen size quilt in all different American fabric patterns. She made A & J and E & T king sizes for their beds, in the colors they like.
Papaw couldn't pass this little outfit up at Cracker Barrel, so little Miss Kallee could be a cowgirl!
