When God Closes a Door...

...He WILL open a window!!! As some of you know, Jerry resigned from his current position with American Family Insurance. For a couple years we have talked about him leaving and finding something else, but we never thought the timing was right (after all, a pay check is better than NO paycheck). He received word on the 30th of December that he would no longer be needed as an agent, so he decided to resign and start the L-O-N-G process of looking for another job! He has put out a lot applications and has had several offers, as well as leads, but so far none of them have worked out. The offers that he has had, have been commission only so...he doesn't want to be too picky, but then again we would like to know what we have to work with at the end of the month when the paycheck is handed to him. If he can't find anything within a reasonable time frame, he will take one of those positions that have been offered to him, until something else comes available. As you all know, jobs are not easy to come by these days, so we are praying that God will provide him with one. I would be lying to say we haven't shed some tears and had our fears, but we also know that we are serving an AWESOME, NEVER FAILING GOD!!! We know that when God closes a door, he will open a window!
