Pray for Darlene

This morning I received a call from my sister Mary saying Darlene (my other sister) was in the hospital. Darlene has had asthma for years so I figured it had something to do with that. What actually happend was, she had put a roast on to cook and forgot to turn it off before heading to bed and when she woke up to her smoke detectors going off and her house full of smoke, she headed for the door to drive herself to the hospital. She knew she couldn't wait for the ambulance to get there, since she could barely breath. She called 911 on her way and told them to be waiting and since she couldn't talk much, they were at the doors waiting with a wheelchair and a crash cart. The doctor told her if she would have laid there another 5 minutes, she probably wouldn't have made it out. With her sever case of asthma and the smoke inhalation, she was really bad when she hit the hospital parking lot. She is currently out of a full-time job and doesn't have insurance, so she can only stay 1-2 days in the hospital and then will have to go home. Her daughter is trying to find a way to clean the house and get the smoke smell out before she comes home, so if you have any ideas, please let me know. If you would, please pray for Darlene to recover quickly from this so she won't be in pain and so she will be able to return to her part-time job.

  3. I know we have used the Ecoquest Air purifiers for things like that. They work well too. I don't know if anyone up that way has those you could borrow. 1 or 2 for a couple of days would do it. That is terrible!! Glad she made it out when she did.
