I Think He's Part Monkey

I truly think this child of mine is part monkey, HA! Keegan has just realized that he can climb up the doorways in the house, so...he decided to pose for me yesterday afternoon.

Just sittin' around, in the doorway!
All the way to the top!

Let's Go Fly A Kite..

...up to the highest height! Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring! That's just what we did this afternoon. Talon come running in with his new kite and said "will you help me fly it Mom"? Of course my first reaction was, UGH, but I obliged him and it was actually kind of fun until...

...yep, his ended up in the tree. I come in to help get Keegan's ready to fly and, he got it to close to the tree. Poor Sponge Bob is going to be left up there since it is almost at the very tippy, top.
It took me forever to get a clear shot of this in the air, it kept blowing so fast I couldn't catch it.

Keegan having fun flying his Spider-Man kite!

Kallee couldn't wait to go out and fly her Baw-bee kite : )
Barbie flying higher than a kite, hee hee!
Talon being a good bubby and helping Kallee with her kite!

Thanks so much for putting these in their Easter baskets Kathryn, they really enjoyed them today!

Spring Break Accomplishments

I never did show ya'll what I accomplished over Spring Break, so here ya go! I actually ended up having 7 trash bags of stuff I got rid of, YEAH!

Ahhhh, the boys closet all clean and neat! I wish it would stay that way, but it will be junky again by next week, ugh! I must say, I was VERY proud of them, they did most of it theirselves!!! I told them on Wednesday night before going to bed, "in the morning we clean out drawers and closets" and when I got up the next morning...they had them almost all done. That sure made this Mama smile : )

This is 1/2 of my closet, it is ready for spring and summer!
This is a combo closet of Miss Kallee's and her Daddy's. It is pretty bad when she has more clothes than him. Of course he has all his jeans, t-shirts and misc. in a
chest of drawers, but then...so does she, ugh!

Spring Fever Hullabaloo - Week #2

Today starts week #2 of the Spring Fever Hullabaloo and this weeks topic is, Vacation spots. Since I have only been to 5 states in my life, I would have to say Florida has been my favorite. Last year at this time I was packing our bags, so we could head there in a week or two, oh how I wish it were this year too : ) Here are a ton of pictures from our trip since I didn't have a blog last year, I will bore you with them this year, ha! Enjoy!
Meeting at the airport, there were 10 of us that flew and 3 of them that drove!
Beautiful sunsets of Florida!

This is where I slept, along with my sister. Since my hubby didn't go and she's not married, we got the single beds. They were sooo comfy and the bedding was super nice too!

This was the sitting area downstairs, which walked out into the pool area.

The pool that we spent a lot of time in!

The living room area and the beautiful, fully equipped kitchen in the background.
Outside shot of the sun room that had a large hot tub in it.
Kallee enjoying the sand!
My sister Mary & I
Kallee & I enjoying the warm water! Almost every evening we would all go on a walk by the water and watch the sun go down, so pretty!
We had some visitors while we were there; L to R - Sherry Gates, Kathy Ogg & Penny Ogg
L to R - Mom, Sis. & Bro. Schnell and Dad (The Schnells were our pastors in MI for a few years while I was going up). I think this was the best part of the trip for my Mom, she was SO happy to get to see them!
"The Girls" playing ring-around-the-rosy outside the restaurant. We only went out to eat a time or two, we made most of our meals. I mentioned earlier about the kitchen in the house, is was sooo nice! Tons of tons of items; bowls, mixers, pans, knives, cutting boards, cook books, everything you would have in your kitchen at home!
Me, Kallee, CJ & Mary

I LOVE this picture of Kallee, she looks so sweet! She was taking a break from the pool,
with my niece Chasey

My sister Mary with "the girls" in the pool. This is where we taught all of them "Jesus Love Is a Bubblin' Over", that is all they wanted to sing after that : )

Papa took us to play putt-putt one night, Kallee loved playing!

All in all, we had a GREAT time and the beach house was SUPER nice! If you want a nice place to stay, this is an excellent place to rent. There were 5 bedrooms, plus some futons and couches that would pull out. It was FULLY equipped with pool items, baby items (bed, strollers, highchairs, etc.), kitchen items, lovely dishes for nice meal in the dining room, tons of games and movies, loads of towels and wash clothes and it was decorated so nice!

Kallee's Terrible Two Day - Part II

When I thought I had finally gotten through to her...I found a picture she shredded by using my mini paper cutter (one I was planning on using for a layout) AND she came upstairs with purple marker all over her face, AHHHHH!!! I think I had better put her to bed before I wear her little behind out!
P.S. I posted these just for you Tony, she is NOT an angel like you think she is. You'd better listen to Sara, lol!

Kallee's Terrible Two Day

Today has been a fun one, NOT!!! Kallee has been a pretty good 2 yr. old, but lately she has been getting into EVERYTHING! Most of the time it is stuff like, her closet (dragging out clothes and shoes), her hair accessories (leaving ponytail holders, headbands and barrettes every where) but recently it has been; the refrigerator, the pantry, the lotion, the boy's stuff and last but not least (just today, within an hour) she has smeared hand soap all over my floor-length mirror and my used ink pads for my scrap booking. AHHHHH!!!! Her hands and arms were covered in black ink when I came downstairs! What was I doing upstairs, you might ask??? I was finishing up cleaning up the soap mess she had left behind, while she was suppose to be napping. Anyways, I am hoping this will pass VERY SOON, since she will be 3 next month, but I'm not holding my breath. Anyone know how to get ink off little hands??? She has been soaking in the bathtub, but no such luck. I'm afraid if I take her out in public, people will think the are
bruises : (
