Christmas Around the World

We had our first ever night Christmas parade here in Frankfort, on Saturday night. The theme was "Christmas Around the World". There were a few really cute floats with globes on them and such (see below). Of course Frankie (our town's mascot) was there and Frito Lay showed up too, handing out tons of chips. They drove around the square once and they still had a ton of chips left, so they came around again, this time to hand you 5 and 6 bags each : ) The Clinton County Children's Civic Theater had a float, so Talon jumped in the parade procession and finished the parade with them. Of course my kids loved the parade and the chips and all the candy. Santa showed up on the old, blue firetruck at the end of the parade, as usual. I asked the kids when the parade was over, if they liked having it at night or in the morning better and...Keegan said he liked it in the morning because he could see all the candy on the ground and he didn't have to search for it in the dark, UGH! Poor child, he rarely gets candy so he has to wait until the Christmas parade every year to get loaded up, ha!
