We're Here

We rolled into Lebanon around 11:30a.m. We were suppose to leave around 3:00, but we got a little nervous when we heard the weather report, so...we ended up leaving around mid-night. After driving all night and day in the rain, we stopped for breakfast at Denny's. When we arrived, our rooms weren't ready yet, so off we went to Kohl's (I think I found dress shirts and ties for the boy's for Easter), so that was a good trip : ) We decided to head to lunch since we still had time to waste, the crunchy Chicken Wrap is VERY good at Friendlys. Finally after lunch, we headed to our hotel which we were very happy to see. Around 1:00p.m. we finally laid our heads to rest for the day. We decided since we had a late lunch, we would skip supper and have pizza after service. Speaking of the opening service, Bro. Chris Cravens did an awesome job on his message. He preached on God being the same "yesterday, today and forever"! He encouraged us to press forward in the areas of ministry we are involved in...because God is willing and able to help us today and forever! We were glad to see some friends that we haven't seen in a long time--Daryl & Sue Pittman from FL (formerly from IN) and Randy Hynes from ID (formerly from MI). We were also happy to see Daryl & Marilyn Muir, we missed seeing them this year at the Marriage Matters Retreat. --After service we headed for pizza, YUMMY!!! Now we are off to bed to see if we can actually get some zzz's tonight. Our day will begin around 8:oo'ish, so a full day ahead, but I'm sure it will great as always. Nighty, night--sleep tight!

  1. Have a great time and come home encouraged! You will have to post some of the stuff you discussed so those of us at home can enjoy it too! (I know Randy Hynes wife, Melissa. I used to be good friends with her in high school! Small world!)
